For desktop computers, all you need to bring in is the tower and any media you can find that belong to it (cables, monitors, keyboards, and mice are not needed).
For laptops, please be sure to bring in the charger as well as any media you can find. We do not need your laptop case.
Also, if you are having a problem with a specific device (ex. your computer speakers aren’t working) please bring in that device.
If you bring in your computer to us, our basic diagnosis is FREE! We can set up your computer in front of you and assess your issues on the spot as best we can. In some cases we would have you drop off your computer and we will call you with a diagnosis.
If your issue does not fit under our free basic diagnosis you will be notified and we will do our best to give you an upfront cost of the diagnostic fee.
Yes, we work on Mac Laptops and Desktops for both hardware and software issues. We can even make Macs and PC’s work together in your network.
Yes, we are a full service laptop repair center. We can fix your laptop power jack if it is loose, replace dead laptop screens, and replace broken hinges, or order any parts (ex. batteries, chargers, etc.) you may need.

We can come to your home or business to fix any problems you may have. We just request you schedule an appointment as far in advance as possible.
Yes. Our current rate is .65 cents per mile for on site service. Labor rates may also apply for destinations over 50 miles away.

Both! Seckora Consulting works closely with many local businesses, as well as end users in their homes for their IT needs.
It depends on the issue (and how busy we are) but most repairs are done within 3-5 business days and sometimes even sooner! Repairs that require custom ordered parts can take longer depending on the shipping time from our vendors. We take pride in having extremely fast turn-around and in many cases we have fixed our customers computers on the spot for them. All of our repairs are done “in house” to ensure the fastest turnaround time possible.
We can troubleshoot your printer by servicing software and driver problems or connection issues. We do not fix hardware related issues with home use printers or monitors. However, we can troubleshoot to assess whether your monitor or printer needs to be replaced.
We can take a look at your computer and give you a better idea whether it is worth fixing or investing in a new computer. We will give you our most honest and expert advice. Our rule of thumb is that if the repair cost more than what your computer is worth, it’s probably best to invest in a new one. If you decide to get a new computer, we offer data transfer services to help you transfer your data from your old computer to your new computer.

Yes. You may monitor disk space and bandwidth usage from within your cPanel control panel. If you need additional bandwidth for your account you will need to upgrade to a larger plan. You can upgrade to a larger plan through your control panel. Or contact us for assistance. The cost will depend upon the plan you select.
Files must be transferred to the Web server via File Transport Protocol (FTP) or your account’s Web-based File Manager. If you need FTP, mail, or other Internet software, visit ZDNet Software Library. ZDNet Software Library is a source for the latest Internet applications with ratings and reviews to help you decide which application is best suited for your needs. An FTP tutorial is also available for beginner users who may not be familiar with FTP. We also provide a Web-based File Manager to make it even easier for you to upload your files.
